Interesting.  I found the file in question (see article) in the
"searchplugins" directory in Netscape's install, so check Mozilla's
install and found similar files, which although not so obviously
snooping on us, possibly are also logging some info - check the lines
that starts with "update".  (I could be very wrong here..  what is a
.src file?)

All this being said, however, I really feel like saying "lawd - is that
all they can come up with?!"  Now, if you have a few spare years, let's
check that big rival product...
