Hey, it looks fine to me on my standard 1400x1050 resolution  with
Opera 6 on Win2K.  The short blurbs at the bottom stay above the
fold when I supersede the site's style sheets.  It even downloads
within 2 seconds on my broadband connection, which is faster than
Wired most days.

I'd prefer the whole thing be centered to equal out the white space,
but then, no one designs for users like me.   ;)

If nothing else, browbeat them into moving the navigation up to the
top of the page.  At least then the average user would have a
chance in hell of noticing more than the trees. Plus, that would place
the main navigation tool in the same area throughout the site.  If the
site has to be ugly it should be consistently so.

At least ther isn't a minute long flash intro showing nothing more than
light filtering through the trees.  Hmmm... that image makes me want
to buy wood.  Could you add a flash intro while you're at it?   *duck*
