Just thought I'd say that this was a really interesting
discussion/debate until PB&J came along and started making absolutely no
sense and merely insulting as many people as possible. If you disagree
with something, PB&J, give reasons or examples like everyone else.
Merely stating "ROFLMAO" every five minutes helps no one. And it should
be "ROTFLMAO" really, as you are rolling on THE floor. But I digress.

Just cause you are lucky enough to be able to browse the web any way you
please, and life has treated you well in as much as you are not
disabled, it doesn't mean others haven't been as lucky.

And as for your point about how many of the arguments here do not apply
as before the net, blind and sight-impared people had no trouble finding
information - one of the greatest features of the WWW is that it is such
a great information resource - why should selfish web designers make it
hard for the blind and sight-impared to tap in to this resource just
cause they want their sites to "WOW" a certain amount of people, who,
let's face it, will soon stop being "WOW'd" and will just be after some
content. You do bother to include some content, right?

I'm now expecting to have a reply telling me to go to hell/stop being
taking
a moral highground/some other response that those with points to make
have been afforded by your wisdom.
Or maybe it'll end in you ROTFLMAO. To be honest, joke will be squarely
on you at some point - laws have a nice way of catching up with those
who break/ignore them.

I'd like to drive real fast everywhere, I would get there faster. Screw
anyone unlucky enough to get in the way. But theres a law in place that
prevents me from doing this, as there are laws in place that prevent me
from telling anyone who has not upgraded to the latest
browsers/computers to go $%^* themselves cause I made a really pretty
site that requires a whole shedload of plugins.

One last thing (sorry about the length of this post to you all) I wanted
to clear up a couple of things.

1) Making a site that degrades nicely/is still accessible in any browser
does not mean it can't look nice;
2) Those that have made points about the requiring Javascript issue are
not saying that no site should use JavaScript;

Thanks, both for allowing me to speak here, and also because I feel I
have learnt alot from this topic/span of topics.
