Hi Bob,

This link may help answer your question.

If you have to wind up using a background image (gradient) in your table a
tip I can offer would be:  If the table size is say...200Wpixels by
200Hpixels > then create your image at 1Wpixel by 200Hpixels.  The
background image, as you know,  will repeat itself saving valuable time.
