Note to self - never never send out an e-mail at 6:30 AM.  I'm waaay off
base with that little post.  I know I implemented what you're trying
somewhere, I'll have to dig it up.

<tip type="Photoshop">Always "save for web" when creating web graphics
in Photoshop.  You can get a good idea of what the image will look like
in the 2-up and 4-up preview boxes, and you can play with settings like
lossy for .gifs until you get it just right</tip>

I think it's due to the with attribute in the CSS that you have set to
70% and 50% for the boxes.  I'd try:  1)  removing the width attribute
altogether or 2) setting it to 1% in order to trick the browser to
stretching to width.
