if you can ensure the content in both is updated simultaneously (from the
same data store), that will help... it also means you aren't really "maintaining"
two versions of the same site, although you will be building two versions...

hell, you might even be able to mix Flash and HTML, just as long as it still
works for those without Flash...  i've done that for logos on sites, with a
background image for those without Flash, so there's no real need for any
Flash detection...
