Sure, I have administered just about every type of platform you would ever
find in a data center. There are limitations with every architecture. Why
don't you point out the specific problems you have with x86 as it relates to
web serving. It is easy to make sweeping generalizations without anything to
back it up.

So let me get this straight, this ISP uses servers that require PCMCIA
cards? Maybe I'm just stupid, but why in the world would a server need
PCMCIA? Again, point out the bugs you refer. What version of the kernel were
you running? Did you share the bugs with LKML? Did they fix it for you?

If you want anyone to actually believe that x86 and Linux aren't reliable
you are going to have to point out specifically what is wrong with them.
Other wise we will be left to assume you it is a user problem.
