if you can make a cfhttp call to amazon and have it return an xml document,
sure.

to make the xml data useful, you'll need to parse the xml into some sort of
data structure you can use server-side, preferably a query object or
structure.  you'll most likely want to do this with some sort of call to an
xml parser via the <cfobject> tag or cfx/custom tag.

you could try starting with the templates from a recent cfug presentation by
kevin hoyt from macromedia that are available in a zip file on the portland,
oregon cfug site:
