Oh - forgot to mention - you'll have to do this from a command prompt.

Want a shortcut to quickly shutdown Windows?  Create a new shortcut, and in
the command box, type in "c:\windows\rundll.exe user.exe,exitwindows" just
like that.  Make sure there isn't a space between user.exe and exitwindows.
Double clicking this shortcut will make Windows shutdown immediately.
