i'm going to venture a guess and assume he's running at higher
than 800x600 resolution, and probably surfing full-screen, right? if
you don't know, then you should find out...
at 1024x768, there *is* room...
if your two content columns were liquid, it might not appear that
way to him...
keep in mind, only ~40% of (my) users run at 1024x768, so without
knowing your numbers, you run the risk of making a left-right-scroll
for ~50% of the users...
