I'm not sure if there is an actual going rate (i could be wrong however).
One thing to take into account is - How much do you need to live? Taking
account of things such as rent, food, etc... You'll have to put all these
things together and figure out what you are needing per month. This will
give you a much better idea of where you need to be.

I personally have various prices. If I'm consulting a company on their
options, my prices will be different than if I'm developing a complex
Content Management System. It's a good idea to check out what other people
in YOUR area are charging as well.

A company downtown from me (www.imagegroup.com) charges around $125.00 per
hour. Another company by me charges $189.00 per HTML page and $220.00 per
Flash page. I personally would REALLY stay away from charging per page and
focus on hourly or total project pricing.
