Hey, why should he have to 'desist'?

LOL! This is a list for web developers, and flash discussions are
implicitly OT (as evidenced by a member requesting a more appropriate
place for Flash discussions).

Why isn't it valid for Erik to issue this warning, it's true.

Erik is a really, really valuable resource for Flash issues, and Flash
issues are part of web development issues. His participation and
contributions to this list are extremely valuable, especially
considering the relative scarcity of such expertise in this community
(hm, where did all the Flash experts go? Were they frightened away? Way
to promote free and open exchange of ideas...)
