I signed up for a hosting package with sectorlink a few days ago. It
does appear to be a small company, but I have had no problem phoning
them or emailing them.

The only problem with their service is that everything appears to be
carried out manually. For instance - setting up my account to handle a
subdomain involved about 5-10 emails back and forth. The control panel
is extremely basic.

With most things I guess - you get what you pay for, and they are pretty
darned cheap.
