the ie picture is a lot closer to what i'm after -- and it's not that i dislike
it wrapping in principle, i just haven't seen it do so at a place where it looks
good. . . and yes, the border's supposed to be there.

I don't know what happened with the mozilla shot.  The current Netscape shot is
something like this:

(Nav 4.08.  Don't recall how Communicator numbers compare to standalone
Navigator issues (like this one), so it may or may not be more recent than it
seems.  Most recent copyright on anything is '98, though.)
The problem now isn't that the header is behind the picture -- it's now off on
the left somewhere -- it's that the first few items are behind the picture.  And
no, hte header's not supposed to be on the left like that, either.  You can see
just the tip of the third section at the bottom of the picture.
