[thelist] OT but urgent: printer recommendations?

So I'm at this new job, and our ten-year-old HP Laserjet 4MV just died.
  Thing is, the boss has something he *really* wants to see, and doesn't
use a computer- so I've been given until lunch to come up with printer
recommendations, to be narrowed down and purchased later this afternoon.
  Ideally, one that can be purchased from these folks:  <www.jandr.com>
(Although if you're in NYC and can recommend somewhere closer to
Chelsea, it'll save me a trip).

They're looking for two, actually:  a *reliable* black network laser
printer for regular-to-heavy use (mostly text), and a "photo-quality"
color printer (8.5" x 11" is OK) for creating promotional stuff (this is
not as urgent).

My experiences with printers involve the consumer inkjet I've had for
seven years, and a beastly large-format deal at the graphic design lab
in college.  In other words, none.  Advice is appreciated, though it
should probably come backchannel.
