Since when does anyone in their right mind turn a weird parenthetical
remark into a heading?

This editor would pull out a machete and that head would roll.

If the article is about the six stooges, then just title the damn
article "The Six Stooges" (or something equally clear) and make it a
freakin H1 and subhead accordingly.


"Actually there were six stooges" would make an interesting opening
sentence (in the <p></p> block)--but a subhead?   Not logical.
