[thelist] manipulate IE from VB?

Howdy,

This is a bit weird, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

I'm wondering if there's a way to control IE through OLE or COM, etc so that
you can open and manipulate pages through scripting.  In other words, can
you make scripts that open IE, load a web page, then access/manipulate the
DOM in that page?  If not IE, are there any browsers that allow this?

Sorry if that's too vague.
