Hi Tim,

To accomplish this with IIS you open up the IIS Manager Console
(Start->Settings->Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Internet Services
Right click on the website or folder you desire and select Properties. You
should see a tab for Documents and and tab for Directory Security.

Subject: [thelist] does Microsoft-IIS/5.0 have htaccess ?

I'm trying to do something like this:

DirectoryIndex index.php index.htm index.shtml index.html

on a Microsoft-IIS/5.0 server

I don't seem to be having any luck with it.

Does IIS use another format/another filename? I googled a bit but
didn't find anything saying yes or no, so I'm guessing that either

a) it uses something completely different
b) the server has htaccess turned off
