Hi Tim, To accomplish this with IIS you open up the IIS Manager Console (Start->Settings->Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Internet Services Manager). Right click on the website or folder you desire and select Properties. You should see a tab for Documents and and tab for Directory Security. I'm trying to do something like this: DirectoryIndex index.php index.htm index.shtml index.html on a Microsoft-IIS/5.0 server I don't seem to be having any luck with it. Does IIS use another format/another filename? I googled a bit but didn't find anything saying yes or no, so I'm guessing that either a) it uses something completely different or b) the server has htaccess turned off tia TjL -- For unsubscribe and other options, including the Tip Harvester and archive of thelist go to: http://lists.evolt.org Workers of the Web, evolt !
