i used it when i had a problem with outlook and found it *highly* annoying for the way i work.  it's signature "feature" is probably the most annoying aspect of the application.

That it may, but it can't handle the volume of email that outlook can.  i tried importing my outlook pst file and it puked partway through it every time.

that's not really an issue if you're not bringing any of your old mail across, but for me it's huge.

i find this aspect of eudora very difficult to use.  i like having the attachments with the message.  i don't have to look at a folder full of attachments and try to figure out which email message a particular attachment belongs to.  i dislike that attachment names are changed or a file by the same name is overwritten (can't recall which happens) if another file by the same name is already in the attachments directory.  if i want my attachments separate, i'll save them out of the email to a spot on my harddrive, but please, please, please don't do it for me.
