Hi Jamie,

While WYSIWYG editors are useful in a lot of instances I believe that
knowing how to code from scratch is a really good skill to have. The most
difficult concept to grasp when marking up in html is *tables* they take a
bit of experience, especially regarding cross-browser issues. Everything
else is memorization just like any language. Html is more like a vocabulary
list and rather small at that. I learned all the tags and even special
characters and colors pretty quick with the online help of
www.webmonkey.com. Their tutorials are great too. A fun way to keep up
current in the industry. Hope that helps you out.

Good Luck,
Phil Warbasse
