Hi everyone,

In response to an article that we recently published, I received a
letter from a reader who said that you had to be careful using CSS on
IE6. In his letter, he said:

"I recently discovered this the hard way when I went to check on
some work I had done on a website with my home PC, which is
fairly new and is running IE6 on Windows XP, both of which I only
started using recently. Apparently, IE6 running on Windows XP out
of the box is not set to make use of CSSs, and the Tools -->
Internet Options window does not even give you the opportunity to
enable CSSs (that I could find, anyway). I ended up going out to
the Microsoft website and downloading instructions to modify the
registry (!) to enable IE6 to use CSSs."

I'd never heard this -- is it true? Has anyone else discovered this?

Jared
