[thelist] p tags in lists

Hi

It's been bugging me and I've been through the archive with all sorts of
searches, but I can't find it.

a few weeks ago there was a thread running about using <p> within <li>

can anyone remember what the outcome was?

CSS Query:
If you sometimes use <p> within a list because the list item is bigger
than a single line and sometimes don't use it, how would you make sure
that all lists were styled the same.

Is <li><p> a paragraph (more than one line) of text</p></li> valid?
