i've used http://www.storefront.net/ . it's sold as a plugin for
frontpage or dreamweaver. however you don't have to use the plugin if
you buy the "merchant tools" program which allows web based
administration of the site.

as far as i can tell it's popular among first time store owners and
their web people. (i was one 2 years ago, not anymore though thank
goodness!)

anyways, contact their sales department if you're interested.

btw, it's written in VBScript.
