I hadn't considered doing ODBC logging.  My gut says that writing to a text file would be a heck of a lot faster than doing a database hit though.

I'm looking for sort of an intermediate step between the logging and the reporting steps with the bonus of having combined log files for all sites running on the same service (to get an overall feeling of usage at the service provider level) and split logs to do reporting for each client using the service along with raw logs available to them to run their own reporting should they want to.
