[thelist] [OT] upgrading Mac from OS9 to OSX, thoughts?

For quark (4/5) and acrobat I would agree with previous posts - horrid in
OSX in fact unusable. Also to run classic you would need lots of ram
installed for best performance.

I'd stick to 9 as it looks like you've decided. For the correct upgrade path
there used to be an extensive list on wwww.macfixit.com - unfortunatley they
moved to a paying service (they served the community well though) but they
still have great advice in their forum section.
