[thelist] Windows Media file (.wmv) and Netscape

Sorry if this question has been beaten to dust, but I searched evolt and
google to no satisfactory result.  Is there no possible way to play .wmv
files on Netscape or Mozilla-based AOL, short of installing a plug-in?
I didn't do the encoding and don't have immediate access to changing
MIME-types on the server (shared) but I could jump on tech support if
necessary.
