[thelist] ssl and clustered servers

afternoon all,

hopefully someone will have a clue about this, as i have none!
otherwise, anyone know where would be a better place to ask this
question??

anyway, we have a cluster of windows servers (2K advanced server i think)
which use a virtual ip to make them look like one machine.

we want to put multiple sites on the cluster, which is no problem at all
as we can use host headers to direct to the site that we want. however,
if you're using ssl then you have to use a unique ip for each site as the
header information is encrypted. unfortunately, it seems only one
virtual ip can be bound to the cluster, which makes running multiple
secure sites rather tricky!

anyone any ideas on how we can get around this and run multiple secure
sites simultaneously?? i've tried searching for this info, but they all
seem to assume you only have one site at a time.

thanks for any pointers,

darren.
