There is no way to hide your IP address since this is how the server knows
how to send information back to you. As far as I know, the only thing you
could do is use multiple IP addresses or change your IP address from time to
time.

Subject: [thelist] Hide my location?

I am working on a CGI system which has a robot-like feature. Our CGI
queries certain sites to obtain certain data. We have permission from all
the sites but one. Why not that one I don't know--I didn't ask the client.

He wants to know, however, if there is any way to hide the IP address of our
queries to that site so that they shouldn't notice if we do too many page
requests and upset them.

Thanks,
Hershel
