So on an 800 x 600 screen resolution the most pixels you could possibly
view, from your example, is 781(2) x 448(9). Hah! Dreamweaver lies. Even
when pressed F11, its still 790 x 563.

I have a ruler available that can be used in test and is a good way to
measure new browsers that will display a background graphic.
