i *just* came across this (i don't know how i missed it the first time).
i would like to know if there is a way to integrate this with other
browsers?

it seems that this solution will get png's to work in ie but totally
remove support for any other browsers/platforms on that certain page?

let me explain a different way. in a corporate intranet solution where
the users would only be using IE on win2k, this will work great. but in
the real world this doesn't seem to solve the problem if you want to
include other browsers in your audience.

am i missing something here?
