[thelist] Why does MS have an account on my computer?

I just happened to be mucking around with something and realized that
Microsoft has a "support" account on my WinXP machine:

Username	SUPPORT_388945a0
Fullname	CN=Microsoft Corporation,L=Redmond,S=Washington,C=US

Is this normal?

It does not appear under 'Users' in the Control Panel, but when I go to
configure a new incoming connection and it asks me what accounts I want to
allow access, this account is listed.
