[thelist] SMTP / DNS problems

It appears that:

a) bobbi at fischercommunications.com is attempting to send a message to
rebecca at lovejoycreative.com
through 66.186.23.141 (Bobbi's SMTP server) to mail5.datapipe.net
(lovejoycreative.com's mailserver).

b) mail5.datapipe.net can not reverse resolve 66.186.23.141 -or- (more
likely) mail5.datapipe.net is having DNS resolution problems and can't see
fischercommunications.com at all in the DNS. It is thus rejecting the
message.

Cheers
Ken

Subject: [thelist] SMTP / DNS problems

: Anyone out there know about the SMTP error that causes an email to bounce
: with the following message:
:
: "Remote host said: Domain of sender address
bobbi at fischercommunicaionts.com
: does not resolve"
:
: I have been scouring the web trying to figure this one out. The email is
: bouncing from one of my clients when she tries to send me email. I am
trying
: to help her (and her ISP) figure out why it's happening. It seems to be a
: DNS error, but being quite a neophyte with DNS issues, I am stumped.
:
: Can anyone help me figure out why sendmail doesn't like this email
address?
: Here are the headers from the email:
