[thelist] link management

hi.

i've decided to bite the bullet and ween myself from frontpage* and use
instead HTML-Kit**. there are a few features that i really like about
frontpage that i need to fulfill if possible.

1. i really like the directory listing that can be added/removed at will
from the left side of the window.
2. it's automatic link updating. when i change the name of a file via
the left hand pane it updates all the links for the page throughout
site.

does HTML-Kit support #1? what programs (preferably free) are there that
can update links? i've downloaded Xenu link sleuth and like it very much
so far. the only problem with it is that it points out all the mistakes,
but i have to change them by hand. as you all know, this can be a very
time consuming and tedious process.

thanks,
chris.

* i never used the wysiwyg view on frontpage, i coded everything by
hand. the reason i am moving away from it is because i do not like the
control it takes. (a) i hate how it modifies my code, (b) i don't like
all the _vti_cnf directories it makes, (c) it doesn't have good text
highlighting.

** http://www.chami.com/html-kit/ nice, but lacking the features i like
in frontpage.
