My advice is to thank her, get paid, and not mess with it anymore. The
client loving it is about the most relevant measure of whether or not
you've done well.

Good. Challenge yourself to higher levels of design expertise.

Sometimes, after my clients are satisfied (but I still think I could
have done their work better) I will use their work as a springboard for
a personal skill development project.
