Don't send HTML enriched mail to Evolt list(s). It's server filters the mail to
pick up message in text form. Mostly the server easily picks up the text format
message but sometimes result can be terrible as you can see in following line.

the |/ key on a kwerty as shown above in the Subject line...but appears a a dot
in browser.

&gt; stands for "greater than" and appears as > (greater than sign) in browser.

&lt; stands for "less than" and appears as < (less than sign) in browser.

&gt; and &lt; are character entities of > and < relatively. Visit
