The script has an alternative mode which is specifically designed for
this - whereby it doesn't render a top navbar at all, but provides
built-in functions you can use to call menus from your existing HTML;

On (or maybe slightly off) this topic, does anyone know of any good
resources (eg step by step tutorials) that will teach you how to build
on of these? I have hunted through peoples code (made my head hurt) and
had a go at rolling my own (woeful) , but would love a good easy to
follow tutorial to help improve my knowledge in this area... Also, it
would be great if more of these drop down menus had a way for users to
navigate if Javascript is turned off. Currently most of them are
generated entirely by scripting.....
