I never actually managed to get any Linux distro installed on VMWare, not
even Koppex running off CDRom. (works ok directly on the PC though.
Do you know if there are any Linux/VMWare diskimages available anywhere? I
realise these might be a few hundred megs, but they wouldn't need any
installation.
If someone took the time to get a Linux dist. setup really nicely on VMWare,
with ethernet etc, that would be a great help to those like me, who can boot
a linux, but can't access the internet from it, so need to re-boot in
windows to search the internet for Linux help, and reboot in Linux to try it
etc etc.
And who get all kinds of errors when trying to install Linux under VMWare
directly.
