I built something like this for a former client a few years ago in Perl. It was for an intranet for a 75,000 employees to build their systems to order. As the code was not written for the wide open internet and it was a work for hire (I do not own the code), I can't provide it. However, a quick Google search turned up: http://www.hotscripts.com/Detailed/1747.html http://www.scriptsearch.com/details/5276.html http://www.techsoldata.ca/portfolio/Configurator.htm http://www.pcorder.com/Sections/Extras/Downloads/CPW_Brochure.pdf Norman www.CraftedSolutions.com At 01:03 PM 3/5/2003, Gustavo Arizpe wrote: >Hi all. > >I'm looking for a shopping system which, besides the usual >characteristics, has a "package configurator" similar to Dell's order >system, where you pick up items already in the DB: CPU, RAM, HD, etc, >and where you must follow some path through the shopping process. > >Any suggestion will be highly appreciated. > > >Gustavo Arizpe >http://www.area.com.mx/estrategica > >-- >* * Please support the community that supports you. * * >http://evolt.org/help_support_evolt/ > >For unsubscribe and other options, including the Tip Harvester and >archives of thelist go to: http://lists.evolt.org Workers of the Web, evolt !
