Troll? ;)

Folks, before you start jumping all-over the site, be realistic:
 1) Macromedia's site should function to showcase their tools -- which
are primarily visual-based (Flash, Shockwave, Fireworks, Freehand). It's
a business site. Just as Netscape's DevEdge caters to Mozilla, so to
should Macromedia's site cater to /its/ tools. They even have the sound
default to "off".
 2) It works in most major browsers (Mozilla 1.3b, IE 5.5, and Netscape
4.7), is passable in NN 3.x, and works great in Lynx (Opera chokes on
it, I think that's a browser ID problem).
 3) They've done a good job -- within their site requirements -- to be
accessible. The first link seen in a text browser is "Accessibility"
which offers an extremely in-depth explanation of the site's efforts.
 4) The pull-down menus everyone's flipping about work fine in *Lynx* as
does the entire site.
 5) They are requesting comments directly on the homepage.

Is it perfect? No.

Is it better than most corporate sites? Probably.

Do I like the design? No, but I prefer text heavy Flash-less sites and I
will use the HTML version available off the Accessibility page:
