OK. I figured this would be the answer. And also thought of a solution:
since I want the title of the site to fill the entire space for it, and
it's an H1, I can define that H1 in px ... one's eyesight would have to
be horrendous to the point where you'd be using a screen reader if it
was too small ... and besides I have the option of completely turning
styles off.
