I think this is on topic...I think.

I just hooked up my sons' PC onto the home LAN. Now I have the task of
figuring out the best way to protect them while they're surfing around
on the net. I've looked at a few packages like CyberSitter, but I'm not
sure what functionalities I should be looking for. Plus my eldest wants
to learn Linux (yeah...he rocks), so I'll need to take that into account
as well.

Have any of you parent 'volters come had to deal with this yet? If so,
what worked for you and what didn't?
