[thelist] simple method for uploading CSV files to MSSQL

Not *my* SQL, but *MS* sql, as in Microsoft . . . and I really need
something which doesn't require use of the database tools; these folks
don't have the time or inclination to bother with it.

Thanks

	hey..

i know it's obvious, but you might post to the mysql list....
also, i'm
pretty sure there is an upload/populate command or comma
delimited
files..... don't have it right here with me right now...

I'm building an analysis app and need to provide a really simple
way for
a small group of users to upload CSV files to MSSQL.

If nothing simple can be done, they could be shown something
less than
simple, but these guys are engineers, not database geeks ;) so
I'd
prefer to make it mindlessly simple if possible.

The CSV files are extremely regular; no exceptions to deal with,
just
dump two sets of identically formatted and positioned data into
two
different tables. (What I mean is, there will be one table of
data,
always formatted the same, and another table of metadata, always
formatted the same; but the two tables aren't the same as each
other.)
