Select just the three-dot values:
SELECT * from mytable WHERE myfield LIKE "%.%.%.%"
Select just the two-dot values:
SELECT * from mytable WHERE myfield LIKE "%.%.%"
AND NOT myfield LIKE "%.%.%.%"
