yes, that's right, i forgot about that.....

i think you're either going to have to use a custom column, or run multiple
cfsearches. the size of the collections will probably determine how many
times you can call the cfsearch tag.

also, when you're populating you can feed in a list of fieldnames to the
body attribute of the cfindex tag (provided you're indexing a DB and not
static files.) . they'll come out in the same order in your results, so you
could conceivably put something at the front to parse out.
