Mind maps[1] are a useful way of getting ideas together for a proposed
development, and even generating rough and ready sitemaps for the client.
There's a userful bit of software for OSX called MyMind[2] which allows you
to generate mind maps from hirearchical lists.

MyMind is donationware, free to use, but if you find it useful, then the
author would appreciate a wee donation
