I though it would be a good idea to pass on this news.
This is an new snippet from an Australian magazine 'NetGuide'

Time's up for Netscape

The Netscape <www.netscape.com> web browser is about to disappear. Netscape
owner AOL <www.aol.com> has made redundant most of the staff working on new
versions of the browser. AOL says it will keep the Netscape brand alive and
still support old editions of the software, but it will not produce any new
releases.
