But it's kinda odd that you're getting nothing back one way or the other
(unless you're using some kind of un-monitored email box).

What happens if you manually send a email to one of these people (using the
same SMTP server, and the same from: address, and ideally, the same message
text)

Our subscribers will not receive all of the emails we send them, and phone
us back tell us this, even though *so they say* they are receiving other
emails.  BTConnect in the UK seems a problem for us, for example.
