[thelist] Mandrake 9.2 or Redhat 9.0

I also recently aquired a new laptop (ibm thinkpad t20). I originally 
put Mandrake 9.1 on it, as I 've always had a lot of luck getting 
Mandrake to run on anything I had lying around.
I decided to try  Redhat's latest, to see what it  was all about and was 
very impressed with it. Very sharp looking and easy to use. I would 
highly recommend getting apt for RPMs, makes a big difference.
So I guess what I'm trying to say is check to see if your laptop is 
compatible with either of the two. I think you'll be happy with either, 
but I would lean towards Redhat.
