I myself went with the links you listed below, until I realised that Rutland was missing! I then read the rest of the web site and realised that it shows the 'Historical' Counties of England. I hope this helps. BTW, had you considered using a 'clickable' map of the UK, instead of a drop down list? I know it takes longer to load, but it can look a lot more user friendly?
