if you have no robots.txt file it will say so , one is not ESSENTIAL but
useful if you believe spiders take any notice of instructions whereto look
and where not to look ;)

now this might be due to the fact your page has

<p><img SRC="../pictures/spacer.gif" ALIGN="BOTTOM" BORDER="0" WIDTH="1"
HEIGHT="30"></p>

in the HTML

please go through the pages deleting the HTML that calls the images..
that's whats giving the errors

deleting the images doesn't stop browsers looking for them....

The page looks like it has holes for images?

<img SRC="../pictures/ppctech.gif" ALIGN="BOTTOM" BORDER="0" WIDTH="89"

so either the images are not there or you have used incorrect locations for
them....

The checker is working fine.... you aren't ;) interesting I don't see any
red crosses where the images are missing in Opera 7.0....

WHOOOOOOOOH... tried it in MSIE 6.0 !!!!!! loads of missing images.. your
coding is Kaput

NB: BIG APOLOGIES about the defence reference ( bazookas and all) didn't
